Guides

We base our practice on the inspired Word of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy. This book has sold over 10 million copies since it was first published in 1875. Today, it continues to be a best seller on healing and spirituality.

Mary Baker Eddy was healed through her own prayers from what the doctors said was a fatal accident. Wanting to know how she was healed, she searched the Scriptures and saw divine laws of God at work that enable spiritual healing to take place. Through this prayerful understanding, she healed hundreds of people of incurable illnesses, blindness, paralysis and more .

Mary Baker Eddy named her discovery  Christian Science. Christian because it is based on the teachings of Christ, and Science because it defines the laws of divine healing that Jesus Christ successfully practiced over 2000 years ago. At Solutions Through Prayer, our healing practice today is based upon the operation of these same divine laws and how each of us is connected to these laws that result in healing,
